Are you frustrated with the traditional ways of investing your money in markets that have shown declining returns for the
last decade?

Join a local boutique farming and investment initiative, Noro Livestock Investment, by investing in livestock assets in Namibia.

With us, you will be investing with farmers.

We understand the animals and the people involved and are committed to achieving the best outcomes for both. Secured through an airtight legal contracted (with ENSAfrica attorneys), and audited with FCS in Windhoek, you can enjoy peace of mind whilst staying connected to farming and the bush all the while growing your investment portfolio.

On the farm

We raise the cows hormone-free (as stipulated by Namibian farming regulations in 1991) In perfect farming conditions at our 4 farms in the Hochfeld and Steinhausen Area which boasts 28 000 hectares of ideal landscape.

We attach an ear tag, that matches your share number, to your cows. This allows you to monitor their health and development whilst they roam free in their camps on the farms.

You can also visit anytime with your family and spend time on the farm with your cows.

How we work

Your investment commitment will purchase shares that are linked to healthy, pregnant cows. Shares can be purchased in multiples of 40 and 50.

Each camp (300+ha) has between 40-50 cows, allowing plenty of free-roaming space for each cow. Our starting number of cattle will be 1300 head, which in time will increase to 2000.

Calves are sold annually at auction to secure investment returns.

African farming with a guaranteed return

You earn a guaranteed return on your investment, year on year, at the end of the contract period. Should anything happen to any of your cows within the contract period your investment will still be protected. NLI contract to replace it with another of the same investment value, and all shares are guaranteed against fire and lightning with Hollard Namibia.

From the day you invest with us you will receive an invoice to show your purchase. Thereafter we send you regular feedback and statements.

If your asset is sold after 60 months and the payment amount due to the investor is not according to contract, cows will be sold to make up for the difference.

I love being out in the bush and supporting sustainable initiatives. Investing with NLI has helped me do both, even when I’m in my office in Cape Town!

As we enter another year of successful farming of Namibian cattle, we have created an opportunity to bring more farmers, cattle and investments together – helping farmers and their local community re-invest back into their country.

At the dry-end of the year we buy cattle, between 250 and 300 kg each. Our most recent purchase was for 550 head of cattle. They are considerately placed across all the farms in the north of Namibia, where they freely graze for the next 9 to 11 months.

They are then sold and the meat is exported to the international market.
The EU, Saudi Arabia, USA and China are the main countries who have large contracts with the Meat Board of Namibia because of our hormone-free, natural meat.
